ADMINISTRATIVE FORMALITIES

to be fulfilled at the Maison des Citoyens (Citizens' Centre) in the Town Hall (rue de Fer)
 

      • Change of address

        Any change of address must be reported to the municipal authorities within eight working days of actually moving into new accommodation.
        The change of address must be reported by an adult member of the household. The change of address is always reported in the new municipality.
        This will be followed by an investigation conducted by the local police officer and registration at the new address.

A change of address will not be requested for temporary absences, i.e. those who move into a home while retaining their own address.

It is not necessary to re-register on the electoral role, as this is done automatically.

Opening hours of the Maison des Citoyens (Citizens' Centre):
* Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
* Saturday from 8.30 am to 11.30 am by appointment. Call 081/24.60.00 from Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm.

 

      • Change of address on vehicle registration certificate 

        The address on the vehicle registration certificate will be changed at the same time as the address is changed on your identity card when you are asked to go to your administration once the police investigation is complete.
